Hello Again.

Good morning everyone! How have you been? Are you squeezing in the last bit of warm weather fun or are you already prepping for cooler weather? What has God been speaking to you in this season? I know that may seem like a strange question, but it is so important. He’s always talking to us, praying over us, and it’s important to know what He’s saying.

I know that I’ve been a bit MIA on here and while I could give you reasons, they feel a bit like excuses even though they’re legitimate. I am planning on getting back to writing and posting though. I think what it really came down to is that I needed a break. My focus was needed elsewhere and sometimes that happens. Bloggers are not machines, even if we sometimes wish we could be.

I started Above My Waves because I wanted to share what God speaks to me and to connect with people all over the world. Those desires haven’t changed at all. I hope to share what God has been speaking to me with you all in the future. I have missed writing and hearing from you, the readers.

If you’ve been around for awhile then you know that this blog has gone through some changes over the years. (Wow, has it really been years?) Part of sharing life with you guys, even if we’re oceans, states, or countries apart, is that I want every reader to be able to visit Above My Waves and have something resonate with them if possible.
