A few weeks ago my husband went on a business trip and I packed the kids up to spend that week with my parents. Since then I have had the hardest time getting back to the simplest of things in our daily routine. Does anyone else have that kind of trouble? Like seriously. I haven’t been writing, exercising, and barely cooking. I need to get my butt back in gear.
This next week our dance season starts and I’m super excited. Isbe will be starting her very first dance class. I cannot wait to see how she does, hopefully she loves it immediately and we don’t have to go through the whole screaming/don’t want to be put down phase. We’ll also be working on getting our diet back under control. Before our mini-cation, Ade’s skin had cleared up almost completely (he suffers from horrible eczema). Unfortunately, he ate something he reacts to and is broken out once more. But, we have been given a glimpse of hope that we haven’t been given since before he was a year old.
I’ve been busy filling up all the time I should be doing other things with reading. Is there anything better for a bibliophile than a new box of books being delivered? I don’t think so. In the last week I’ve read three books, one being 699 pages (I’m a little proud of myself, okay?). Hopefully that marathon will help me not power through the rest of my new books, but I’m not holding my breath.
I’m seriously determined to get back into my routines, especially writing. If you already follow me then I hope you stuck around and continue to do so. If this is the first time you’ve come across my blog, then I hope you also continue to stick around. In the meantime, feel free to read my previous blog posts. You might find something you like.
