Places I’d Love to Travel

I love traveling. I would love to travel the world, honestly. Exploring different cultures and learning about the history of places from the people who live there sounds so exciting to me. One thing I love about blogging is that I can reach people of all places and cultures throughout the world. Places that I may never be able to see in person in this life. Today, I’m listing the top places I’d love to travel. While they’re not in any certain order, these are the places I first think of when I talk about wanting to travel the world. After I visit these places, then I’ll gladly take on the rest of the world.

First of all, I love India’s fashion. Seriously. I wrote a whole post on how beautiful I find Saris. I want the chance to wear them just once in my life. Please!
Second, India has one of the most colorful cultures. If I ever get the chance to actually travel to India, I am determined to do so during Holi.
If you know me then you know that I love dancing, and maybe I’ve watched too many Bollywood movies, but I would definitely be down for some dance lessons in India.
And there’s still the Culture, the History, the Architecture, the Food, and the Natural Beauty found in India.

Home of Le Louvre, Versailles, the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, and my favorite Superheroes–Ladybug and Cat Noir. The language is beautiful, so beautiful that I’m attempting to learn it (and probably butchering it, for which I apologize). The more I learn about the real French culture, the more friendly and beautiful it seems. I think there’s a misconception that French people are stuck up and that’s not it at all. They’re just so friendly and mannerly (is that a word?) that to not be so is like a snub to them. But I digress.
While Russia was my girl-hood dream home, I could actually see myself living in France.

Two of my favorite book series takes place in the Land Down Under. One is located between Sydney and Melbourne, and the other takes place in a fictional town in Tasmania. I’m pretty sure Sydney is a must-see for every traveler, along with the Great Barrier Reef, but you might be wondering why I would visit Tasmania for a fictional town. Well, while the town itself is fictional, I’m going to go out on a limb and say that the fairy penguins are not. So yes, I’d go to Tasmania to see the fairies. I may freeze but at least I’ll get to see cute penguins!
Another thing about Australia, and this is really no surprise, are its beaches! I love being at the beach and hearing the roar of the ocean. That would probably be my first destination if I ever travel to Australia. You will also catch me exploring the Sydney Opera House, and hopefully catching a production from The Australian Ballet company. I’ve also read about the State Library Vitcoria, the National Gallery of Victoria, and the gardens, all located in Melbourne. So yeah, let’s just say I’d have plenty to explore and do in Australia.

All roads lead to Rome. Is that still true? I don’t think so but that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t have fun walking them. Rome is so full of ancient history, and pain. I’ve often thought of what I would feel as I explore the ruins of that ancient powerhouse. Of course I would be full of wonder and excitement as I learned about the culture, both ancient and modern, but I think part of me might also feel a certain sadness simply because I know how much suffering my Christian brothers and sisters went through there. Still, there’s so much history in the walls of Rome that I would easily be able to spend weeks exploring.

~New Zealand – (Confession, for the longest time I thought New Zealand was located somewhere around Ireland and Scotland. It’s not. It’s cuddled up with Australia. I officially apologize to all New Zealanders for my misconception.)
~Israel – Is this every Christians dream? Just asking.
~Greece – I love Greek Mythology. And food.
~Russia – I’d go for the Livadia, Winter, and Catherine Palaces and find more historical sites while there.

Where would you travel? Have you been to any of these places? Do you have any recommendations for things to do or see?

    1. 😆 My Honorable Mentions are the ones that I really want to visit but couldn’t give a specific reason. I just want to travel and explore so much of this beautiful world.
